Sales and Acquisitions Director
Michael has always had a passion for real estate and began acquiring properties for personal investment in 1984, alongside a successful career in fabric wholesale spanning 40 years. Together with his brother Joe, he was a director and shareholder of a successful textile business until its sale to a public company in 1989. In 1992 the brothers, along with fellow director Yuda Ambalo, set up Investland. Michael used his extensive knowledge of areas traditionally popular with the rag trade to acquire sites that had previously been used as sweatshops, unlocking the potential of areas such as Clerkenwell, Old Street and Hackney which had been overlooked by established developers at the time.
Following the untimely death of Yuda, in 2013 Michael made the decision to focus 100% of his time on Investland, using his business acumen and in-depth knowledge of inner city areas to steer the company forward.
