Investland Takes Crisis Under Wing
Investland donated one of its canal-side warehouses to the charity Crisis as a winter shelter for homeless people in the local area.
The site in Hertford Road, Hackney provided a warm and safe haven for some of the most deprived and needy people in London, accommodating up to 100 guests.
Managing director Yuda Ambalo explains, 'Our project at Hertford Road is currently at its design stages so we decided to use the site, while it was still vacant, for various community programmes and activities. We were delighted to help Crisis in their efforts to care for some of the more vulnerable members of the Hackney community.'
