Graffiti art

Investland have given talented local graffiti artists a stage by commissioning them to spray paint the hoarding around its latest development SoDa Studios in Kingsland Road, Hackney. The resulting artwork – a striking and colourful masterpiece with an appropriate construction theme - has attracted appreciative comments from fascinated passers by and neighbouring firms.

Although nowadays graffiti is often viewed as vandalism managing director Yuda Ambalo explains, “Investland is known for looking at things differently and so instead of putting up the customary hoarding, which is a little boring, I decided to provide a forum for what is, in fact, an under-appreciated art form.”

Instead of hurriedly completing their designs in the dead of night, Investland’s chosen graffiti artists had weeks to create their masterpieces, working in broad daylight. Investland even erected taller hoardings than normal to give the artists a bigger canvas to work on.
