Anyone can adapt a building to churn out bog standard houses. But at Investland we set ourselves more of a challenge. We believe in making the most of the available space to create light and spacious homes that are anything but ordinary.

This approach is well illustrated by River Island View where we refurbished a Grade II listed building bordering a Fairview Homes estate in Enfield Island Village.

We saw the potential of the distinctive building on the banks of the River Lee and working closely with our architects. created an innovative blueprint for seven stylish two bedroomed homes that would highlight the building's original features and character.

The result was an imaginative 'upside down' design, with ground floor bedrooms and upstairs living space. The airy, open plan living area benefits from a double-height vaulted ceiling with exposed trusses, while sashed windows give stunning views over the river.
