We obtained planning permission to build quality apartments in the under-used grounds of a convent and care home. The challenge here was to create a design that would satisfy planning officials as the building was both listed and in a conservation area.

Our solution? We drew up plans for distinctive modern apartments that would nonetheless integrate with the Victorian streetscape. Generous windows make the most of stunning views over this rare green space in an urban environment.

We believe in taking on projects that will not only be profitable but will also benefit local people, as was the case here. The convent used the proceeds from the land sale to fund the upgrade of its care home to modern standards.
