Investland’s redevelopment of this Grade II-listed workhouse in Vestry Street was the catalyst for the regeneration of the rest of the road and the wider area. Having obtained planning consent for change of use from commercial to live/work, a sensitive refurbishment of the three-storey building was carried out with a strong emphasis on preserving any original features. The resulting loft-style spaces feature spacious interiors, exposed brickwork, original wooden floors which have been polished and preserved, and stunning dual-aspect views. This development successfully attracted creative individuals to the area, operating businesses in sectors such as photography, dance and the arts.
